Toofer suprise

I randomly felt inside LO's mouth today and by golly she has 2 lil toofers poking through on the bottom. I hadn't noticed anything that made me think she was teething; no fever, excessive chewing, crankiness etc.

For those of you that LO's have sprouted there teeth, was it a surprise, or did you know it was happening?

    DD's first tooth was a complete suprise.  All of a sudden, I felt it and there were no signs of teething.

    It was exactly like you. She showed no teething signs beyond her usual fussiness. I randomly put my finger in her mouth and felt a little spike. I was floored!
