Good Morning Ladies!
I have posted on here before about how my 7 month old wants to control the spoon - he has a lot of fun, but very rarely does food get to his mouth. And when it does - he just doesnt seem to like it. By now he has tried every fruit and veggie I can think of - some combos - but he really doesn't seem to like anything. He will eat little bits here and there when I get the spoon in his mouth for him.
I have tried putting small pieces of banana or avacado in front of him to see if he will feed himself that way - but all he does is play with it - he might bring it to his mouth like he does with anything else, but he isn't trying to eat it.
Re: getting 7.5 month old to eat..
Ahh - I pushed go before I was ready! sorry!
Anyway - I am curious what your thoughts are... should I keep attempting with the spoon? Should I keep putting small pieces of food on his plate and see if he eats anything - and
My DS did the same thing with the spoon and I just let hi
SCANDAL!
Charlotte has to hold the spoon, too. Left to her own devices, she would never hit her mouth while it was open. Ever. I hold the spoon with her and "guide" it to her mouth. Probably about 75% of the food gets into her mouth, and
DD likes to play with the spoon as well. We normally try to just feed her ourselves since she can't do it yet. We're going to try having her feed herself later on.
