Lexapro for post partum anxiety

I finally went to the dr and talked to them about what I've been experiencing and they prescribed Lexapro. Just wondering if anyone has experiences with it. I hate to take meds but feel I probably need it right now.

    I was on this pre pregnancy and It was a life changer! I initially was prescribed Zoloft but it didn't work, made me jittery. Lexapro let me function again. But I would definitely avoid alcohol, one drink should be ok but beyond that it wasn't a good idea

    I tried lexapro for anxiety several years before we started TTC. It did not work well for me. I went with Zoloft and it worked wonders. My sister on the other hand does really good with lexapro and horrible with Zoloft.
