DH has been extremely helpful with the baby. He takes her on his lunch break so I can shower, he takes her when he gets home from work so I can make dinner/have a baby break. He usually puts her to bed at night, and even takes the midnight shift for feeding if she wakes then.
Last night, he slept from 10:30 until 6 am. Pretty good amount of sleep with a newborn in the room. That was fine, I got up with her at 4 and she went back to bed within an hour.
My freak out began when his alarm went off and it was SO loud! AND he lets it buzz and buzz. Well, up wakes the baby. After I just put her down an hour ago. UGH! I tried to just sooth her and see if she would go back to sleep, but that wasn't happening. I had to go through the whole feed, sooth, sleep routine again.
I wasn't impressed. This happens far too often.
There must be a way to make mornings a little less angry for me.
I needed a little vent. Sorry.
Re: Mild Morning FREAK out!
Sorry, I know it's so frustrating!

We must live in the same house! Only we have a two year old too. So, around 4 our toddler comes in our room and jumps around like the sun is up. DH gets up and puts him down on his mat in our room. He sings and shouts and
"Sometimes,' said Pooh, 'the smallest things take up the most room in your heart."

We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.
