so i really like the babyletto hudson in white. i am short and have had a mishap while baby sitting where i couldn't get a child out of a crib.. it was scary, and i always said i'd have a short crib. i really like this one.
h thinks we should buy cheaper cribs, they sell for $299 on amazon, which isn't a ton, imo, but he thinks they'll need beds soon..
my sil and bil swear that you can use their crib for 5 years. our nephew is almost 2 and still has the sides up, and up until a year ago, our other nephew who is almost 7, was using his crib without the side as a toddler bed.
there are cribs at ikea that are super cheap and just seem super small. my biggest conflict is will i regret spending 100 and not use it as long and have to buy something else anyway? or would you buy the more expensive crib?
i'm a ftm, we're having twins. TIA!
Re: how important are cribs to you?

My LO is still in her crib with no sign of coming out and she is almost two. When she shows signs of climbing we will take off the front rail (it is convertible).

My kids will have both slept in the crib for at least 2 years. We transitioned DS to a twin bed when DD was about 4 months so she could use it. Our crib doesn't convert and I think because of the size the max in it would be about 3 years but they would
Honestly, a crib is one of those purchases I wish I would have spent less on. We spent around $300, but I wish I would have gone with the $120 Graco I was looking at. While the crib has served us well (we are now using it as a toddler bed and will use
I think as long as your crib meets current safety guidelines and you can reach in ok, you should be all set. Some kids can stay in their cribs until they are 2 or 3....need to move them when potty trained. Others start climbing out at 18 mo
