1st Trimester

Anyone else afraid to have sex?

I am about 5 1/2 weeks along, and I am terrified to have sex until I see my OB, we have our first appointment on Monday. I know that having sex would most likely not harm anything at all...but I just cant help but be worried...I am also worried that the smallest amount of bleeding caused by sex would send me into a panic and I dont want that...anyone else feeling the same way?

  • I feel the same way! Thankfully my OB is having me come in at 6 weeks because I am a Type 1 diabetic, so they are monitoring me closely. Even my husband isnt comfortable having sex until we talk to my OB...we are probably being silly, but better safe than

  • I had this fear too but as my BFF put it "as long as your husband doesn't have a 15 inch penis you'll be fine" lol. We're definitely a little more careful but I suggest you go for it if you want to!
