Found out yesterday that my husband has low sperm count and poor sperm quality. He has 52% defective sperm. He's only making 20 million sperm when he should be making 80 million (I think those numbers are right). But we only need one out of 20 million so that doesn't seem to hard right? Well, anyway, I was wondering if any of you ladies have had this issue with your SO? Was it an easy fix, like he needs to take certain vitamins? Or did you have to go through more testing to find out there is nothing to do? Thanks for your help!

Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

My husband has low numbers across the board according to the RE. He had seen a urologist first. He has a known varicocele but very small.
You should definitely have Uro exam but watch out for scalpel happy surgeons. Our RE (and myself) don'
I'm sorry you got bad MFI news. But the information you gave is a bit different then what the American Medical Association.
Count should be 20 million per milliliter with a volume of 1.5-3.0 giving him a total count of 30 - 60 m
