I've got 99 problems....

Okay, maybe not 99 problems.  But this week has seriously been the worst...

On Monday, DH had to go to the ER because he had a cut on his arm that got infected, and his arm blew up and was all red and swollen.  He's completely fine...but we had to pay for an ER visit and antibiotics.  So that sucked.

Yesterday, I got DD and I all bundled up to run to the dollar store, only to get two houses away and realize that I had a flat tire.  We knew that my car needed  new tires soon, but we were putting it off for the last two months.  So we had to buy four of those today, which was about $575.  Since that's our only working car, we couldn't mess around too long shopping around for tires, because DH has class this afternoon.

As if that wasn't enough to deal with, yesterday we found a crapload of winged insects coming out of the heater vent in the living room.  Pest control services just left us with a termite diagnosis and a $1,000 quote to treat the problem.

Seriously, WTH?? These three random things just ate up every last bit of our "emergency" and "fun" money and I'm wallowing on the couch and crying a tiny bit.  I'm just hoping that the "bad things happen in threes" adage holds true and we can get a break!

Thanks for letting my vent.  I know things could always be worse, but I'm just feeling so emotional and exhausted lately, and not sleeping well, and it's just been a rough week.  Cookies for anyone who made it through all of that!

    All I hear is that DH got the treatment he needs.  You have BRAND NEW tires on your car, and you're getting rid of termites (blech!).

    Glass half full!! ;P

    Sorry that you're having a crummy week.  I find crying a little bit helps r

    Ugh on all counts.

    Not sure how it is in your area, but I had to call the exterminator once and the prices varied a lot from one company to another - Definitely worth getting another quote or two. Hopefully that can save you a few hundred dollars
