Bathing suit question WWPALD?

DS is currently in 12 to 18m clothing for the most part. He's on the big end of that though, not a lot of room left. That's pretty much true for all his tops, pants he's pretty firmly in 12 to 18m and probably will be most of the summer.

We have 4 bathing suit bottoms for him in 12 to 18m and one rash guard. We have a beach vacation coming in early May. What size would you get? The one I'm eyeing is on Carters and is on sale now.

I don't know if I should go with what will fit him now or go a size up and hope to get more use out of it...though he'll be swimming in it now ::pun intended::

I've been looking into it too and was told you alwys want to go bigger if you are indecisive on bathing suit size. DD is in 12-18 months and I will probably go for 18-24 when we buy a new suit.

Hah.. this made me LOL only because my DS is in 12-18 months and he just turned 8 months old

FWIW, I bought all of his summer stuff in 18-24. He does NOT like things that are too tight on his belly, and 12-18 fits him perfectly right now.&n

Normally I'd go big. My concern with doing so now is that the size up wouldn't fit on the trip. I had him in a Carters 24m short set the other day and the shorts literally fell down. Unfortunately I have a feeling he'll size up mid season ::mobile frow

Why not just use one of your older ones for your beach trip? Unless I'm misreading, you have 4 already in 12-18? Order the new one and use that mid-summer, and use your last year ones for early in the season? Or, just get one new one now
