Marriage counseling

Has anyone done it?  Has it worked?  DH has agreed, but has made it clear already that it "Never works."

    DH wouldn't go so I'm going on my own...it is becoming clear in my sessions that individual counseling isn't going to be enough though so I'm working on getting him on board. And it does work - maybe not for everyone but it does work! I know a few coupl

    We went.  So my experience was, DH agreed with everything in the actual sessions. When it came time to implement the things we discussed at home, he totally failed.  In our situation this was OK, I more needed him to be aware of the things he

    DH also wouldn't go so I'm going on my own right now.  It has really helped me because I can get things off my chest and I have someone unrelated to bounce things off of.  My counselor has come up with a plan to get DH to come to a few sessions

    Insurance approved it!  yay!  they had an app't for either wednesday afternoon or monday morning... so, why wait, huh?  i picked 9 am Monday morning..... scary, but necessary.
