Repeat D&C question
Hi-
Forgive me if this is not the correct place to post this question. I am somewhat new and still trying to find my appropriate place on a board.
I had a d&c 7 weeks ago for a miscarriage I had at 10 weeks (stopped growing at 8 weeks). I was spotting for a 3.5 weeks and my Dr. decided to do an ultrasound to make sure everything was out and looked ok. Turns out there was something there- and I had a 2nd d&c (yes, 2 for a single pregnancy!) 1 week ago today. I imagine there was much less to remove the second time around...it was either a blood clot or leftover tissue. Will find out soon from the pathology report.
After my 2nd d&c everything seems to be much better. Bleeding has compeltely stopped and I believe my body is on the right track to recovery this time. Post d&c visit in next week.
With that said, has anyone ever had 2 d&c's for a single pregnancy? The reason I ask is because I really want to start TTC again but don't have any clue what kind of timeline to expect for my period to arrive. They say with a d&c that your period should come 3-6 weeks post procedure. But what about after a second? I see my Dr. in a few days but wanted to see if any of you had any answers (or guesses) from a similar situation? I've think I found the one topic the internet doens't seem to have any answers to.

I had a loss and D&C in January. I didn't have to have a second D&C, so I have no experience there. I can tell you
