Anyone up for a daily chat thread? Kinda a topic-less GTKY?

I for one, have been having a rough week, my parents were out to visit which was amazing, and they flew out yesterday so I'm a bit heartbroken. And as a kicker my uncle (my moms brother) died rather surprisingly 2 days ago, so it was hard to see my mom try to cope with it and now I'm across the country and can't really give hugs or support to all my family out there. Add that to the hormones and I'm a pretty sobby mess off and on.

On a happy note, the baby loves chocolate, which is therapeutic :) Its moving like crazy after the 2 cadbury eggs I just consumed. And my kiddos could feel it move last night, so that was neat.

Does anyone here garden at all?

    I'm sorry about your uncle :[ I just lost a close family friend, basically uncle-type, my dad's best friend 2 weeks ago. It's scary because he's my dad's age. I still feel like everyone's invisible.

    I really don't fluckin feel good. I think I running a low grade fever now so I took some tylenol to help but I feel overall like crap. I just went to grab a snack and put some chef boyardee in 2 bowls along with a cutie orange and some juice for the kids

    Oh Amarissa I hope you feel better! Drink water and eat those oranges. And try to get some rest, this cold that's going around definitely requires some couch and speghetti-o days.

    I did that a couple weeks ago. The coughing was making my dry heave, finally took some robitussin to calm it and as soon as I took it, my entire meal came up everywhere

    So sorry about your uncle, I'll keep you family in my thoughts.

    No gardening for me... I've tried a few years, but am down to just a few tomato plants, and probably won't even do that this year.  :)

    I should garden, I like to use fresh herbs in my spaghetti sauce and it seems like when I buy them from the store the damn things don't last to when I plan to use them.

    Haha Brianne. Digging it out was the hardest part! I know nothing of tomato recipes though.

     Some she'll be ok! You are leaving her with 2 people capable of raising a small person, I'm sure 1 night will be ok :)

    So sorry to hear about your uncle, Soleil.

    I planned and planted a perennial flower garden last year and can't wait to get back out and work in it.  I just wish the weather would get the memo that it's SPRING!!
