1st birthday party food

What do you suggest having as food for my DD birthday party. The party is from 122 and my dd is a vegetarian. Her father and I eat poultry and fish.

Started back on BC May, 2010; Had last shot on Aug. 2010
TTC starting in November, 2010; Irregular cycles- went to Dr
U/S showed cysts on both ovaries; Diag. Lap on March 1st, 2011
Lap showed that my right fal. tube is centered, instead of to the right
Left fal. tube is disjointed
uterus is tilted and the size of a softball, not a pear.
BFP on 8-30-11, 9-2-11, and 9-4-11.
EDD is May 14, 2012. :)

    She's vegetarian. It's at the park so there's tables. There will probably be 8 children total. From 8 months to 9 years. Thanks for the suggestions.

    We served Italian food only because our guest list was huge and it was the easiest thing for me to cook ahead of time and for such a big crowd.  DH and I made meatballs and sauce, sausage and peppers, penne with vodka sauce, and my mom made baked zit

    We're doing a taco bar because it's the only thing I could think of that I could prepare ahead of time that also meets everyone's dietary needs (we have a lot of family members with food aversions/allergies and they all seem to be different).

    My DS's b-day party is in 2 weeks...and I have been stressing out about what to serve!  Actually DH keeps begging me to cater so I won't be in the kitchen the entire time and can actually enjoy the party...but, I think I'm going to do my own thing.&n

    This thread is weird.

    But anyway, we had lasagna and spaghetti for DD's party plus fruit and veggie trays and cake. If DD were a vegetarian she could have eaten the spaghetti. But she's not so she had meat lasagna with me.

    I have no problem with meat. It's just a lot healthier.
    It's the same thing like when mothers insist on making their babies organic baby food and they don't eat organic but breastfed their baby.

    Interesting!  I'm kind of the opposite - I'm a vegetarian, but I decided to offer my LO meat and let him make his own decisions about diet when he's old enough.  Husband is a meat-eater.  I am kind of neurotic about it - if I could, I would
