Update on my Replacement

I just had a talk with Boss Lady and things aren't going well. I think she's (Boss Lady) at the point where she knows this just can't work out but is afraid of finding herself with no one to help. But then again, the more time passes, the clearer it becomes that my replacement will be of no help - and will most likely turn into a hindrance.

I am all for giving people chances, but really, when you ask to have the same email sent to you 3 times because you "misplaced it", something's just not right.

This could turn into a blessing in disguise for Boss Lady, though. Our biggest account (the one she manages) is going through a round of layoffs, and some really good people are being let go, so maybe she'll be able to snatch one of them...
