Moby hurts my back

The Moby makes my midback sort of crampy and achy. Could this be related to normal PP discomfort I'm a week PP or am I wearing him wrong? I have him in the newborn hold. Any tips? Experiences?

Hmm...can you post a picture? Generally back pain while wearing means you don't have baby high and tight enough. He should be right where you'd hold him in arms. And you have to tie the moby very snuggly on your body or it will be too lo

I tried a higher tie and it worked for my back but LO was In a stretchy mood and kept straightening his legs. Ugh. Then his head felt too high to me.

I've been doing the "legs out" with DD since the first week. I read on the Moby website today that you shouldn't do that carry until 3 or 4 months. I shrugged my shoulders and moved on lol. But I'm glad to see some reassurance that it's A-OK.
