Shower invite wording

My shower is being held at my parents house but is being hosted by my best friend. I got the invite in the mail today (I asked for one to keep for the baby scrapbook) and it's gorgeous. I didn't think much of it at first but then I noticed the invite says "The [mylastname]'s" before the address. I have the same last name as my parents since I'm not married yet. Does this make it look like my parents or I are throwing our own shower?

I would imagine that most of your friends know where you live, and when they see the invite, will realize that it's your parent's place.

Your guests might think its your parents but once they arrive at the shower, and your host starts leading everything, it'll be clear that it's not your parents' hosting. I don't think it looks bad on your part.
