Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Random question for mom's with more than one!

How was your second LO in comparision to your first?  For example:  if your first LO was an easy baby, how was your second one?

I know all babies are different, I'm just curious if they are so different by nature or if the parent's demeanor play a part in it.

TIA

  • DS1 was a *difficult* baby.  I had terrible morning sickness and heart burn the whole pregnancy.  He was born 5 weeks early.  Had reflux really bad.  Was MSPI.  And eventually had to be put on Alimentum instead of BF'ing. Slept

  • Mt pregnancies were about the same, but the kids are night and day.

DS is almost 3.  He had colic, was never able to entertain himself, didn't STTN until about 9 months.  Just in general a difficult baby.  However, he is a really g

  • My pregnancies with both girls were basically the same (except DD1 was born a month early and DD2 came right on time)

DD1 was what you could consider an "easy" baby. BF her until she was 1, she was consistently STTN around 2-3 months old.

I thought my first was easy, but my second is so so easy. Really the only things that are more difficult is that he doesn't always sttn yet and DS1 was sttn every night by now. But DS1 was harder to get to sleep. And DS2 doesn't like food yet and DS1 love

  • DS1 - Giant, happy teddy bear of a baby who was a crappy sleeper and super demanding.

DS2 - Normal sized sweet pea who's generally super chill but isn't dealing with teething well.

  • DS was born prematurely, so DD is definitely easier as a baby.

  • DS1 easy pregnancy.  He was born 10 days late and weighed 7lbs.  He wasn't a difficult baby but was harder to keep happy.  He met all motor skills earlier than normal.  He has been on the go since the beginning and still never slows

    Both were easy, happy babies.

  • Both my pregnancies were really similar, text book pregnancies.

DD was a really easy, happy baby minus that she had (and still has) awful nighttime sleep habits but was always an excellent napper. Still is. Now as a toddler she has SOMUCH energy

  • DS...EASY, really, really easy.  Aside from a little early reflux, he was great, STTN at 8 weeks, and no big issues.

DD...PITA.  Up until recently (like, 6 months old) has been a crying, reflux-y, non-sleeping NIGHTMARE!  EVERY N
