Milk frozen during thrush treatment can be given to baby without
a problem while you are still being treating for thrush.
Many sources recommend that mothers do not freeze expressed milk
for later use when they are being treated for thrush. We
do know that freezing deactivates yeast, but does not kill it (Rosa
1990), so there is a theoretical risk that milk expressed during
a thrush outbreak could reinfect baby at a later date. However,
there have been no studies that tell us whether or not this defrosted
milk is really a problem.
we are twins! ha! so should i dump the milk i froze earlier this week you think? that's gonna be painful...
Wheee!

Here's what I've decided to do: I'm going to freeze it and mark on the bags that it is thrush. IF I end up with a decent supply before I go back to work, I'll throw it away. I'll probably call the pedi too just to ask his opinion. If you have to pump and dump (I did for 12 days) it does get easier. I just can't bear to do it now, because I'm 12 days behind building up my stash.
I had thrush from 3 weeks to 5 1/2 months, so literally ALL of my frozen milk had thrush. Unfortunately we lost it all in a freezer breakdown, but I had full plans to use every drop if I could have. DD never got thrush even though she was EBFed. (We're still nursing, but thankfully I haven't had thrush since May.) Best wishes!!!
