annie's bunny crackers, chocolate chips, mini cheese or pb cracker sandwiches (trader joe's), yogurt raisins, stickers, finger/ring crayons (they have them at target), barrettes/bows for girls
Last year, I put a new piggy bank in her basket, so I put pennies in the eggs. She spent at least an hour placing the pennies in her new bank. This year, I am going to buy a puzzle and put one piece into each egg.
non-food things: temporary tatoos, stickers, small bubble jars (they need the big eggs, but fit), those little craft toys made from a fuzz ball and ears or feet and googly eyes that look like things like ducks and chicks.
Re: "treats" for the plastic eggs?
I found Thomas socks and a finger puppet this year for our big eggs.
I found color changing bath drops at Kroger the other day that I'm putting in one of the eggs.
I am doing jelly beans and temporary tattoos.
