My husband stayed home from work earlier this week because he had a head cold. Even though we were super careful with hand washing and cleaning everything, my son woke up this morning congested and coughing. Now he has a temp ranging from 99.5 to 100. So sad. I gave him some Tylenol just as a precaution. I hate this, it breaks my heart to hear him congested and cough: I'm just really hoping he gets better fast, at 3 weeks 4 days I know how dangerous it is to have a fever and I don't want him ending up in the hospital!! : I'm such a FTM, I don't think I'll sleep tonight!!

    97-100 is in the normal range for a baby, a fever under a month old means a call to the ped office asap, too

    Already, called the ped office. They want to see him tomorrow morning. I'm just going to watch him all night....

    Ditto pp, anything under 100.4 is not a fever in an infant. I hope he feels better.

    Please request that they test for RSV even if they don't bring it up! My baby was at the doctor's twice before they tested her and even while testing her the doctor said she really didn't think that DD had it... well, she did! We got a prescription to hel
