TPs for a friend: delivered at 25w

A friend developed PPROM at 23 w and just delivered on Tuesday at 25w. Her LO weighed 1lb, 9oz. Doctors said hes doing as good as can be expected for 25w, but they will have a long road ahead of them. Any positive thoughts or prayers you can send their way is much appreciated. My heart is very heavy for them right now.

      DS1: Quinn - 10.22.10 and DS2: Cole - 01.18.13

    Sending them thoughts and prayers. If it is any consolation, my 2 year old DD spent the entire morning trying to keep up with her best buddy during a play date at our house. Little man was born at exactly 25 weeks, 1lb, 12 oz and is now the most energetic

    Good thoughts and prayers for the little guy. My dear friend had her little one at about the same gestational age and weight. It has been a long road, but she is a thriving 2 year old now.

    My thoughts are with your friend. Someone I know also delivered at 25 weeks and just took home her healthy baby. Your friend may want to check out her blog for a feeling that she is not alone. It is Baby Making Merry Go Round.

    Cameron Jacob (CJ) came early @ 25w4d on November 16, 2012 due to placenta abruption and incompetent cervix . Weighing 1lb 15.5oz, 14 inches long.
