8 week appointment

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and we went for our first ultrasound this morning. First they weighed me and got my blood pressure. Then the doctor did a pap and vaginal/internal ultrasound. There was just one baby in there and the heart beat was very strong. She said everything looked great, and we are still on track for a November 1st baby. She said my chances of miscarrying at this point are less than 3%, but her advice was to wait until 12 weeks or later to announce it to the world.

I think I will sleep a little easier tonight.

Congratulations! That is such great news! My first appointment is on the 8th as well and I just hope and pray for a strong heartbeat

I'm also due November 1st :
I have my first ob appt tmrw, I will be 8 weeks but she won't do our first u/s until 12 weeks. Congrats!

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow, too!

My first appointment is next Thursday.. it can't come soon enough! I don't think I will be able to hold on to the news any longer after I have that U/S.. yay for you! Wish me luck!
