Entertaining a 20 month old

As of late I have found that DS is very disinterested in any of his toys. Do you have any fun game suggestions/toys with lasting value? I feel like I'm running out of ideas to keep him entertained especially since his attention span is 10 minutes or less.

  • Wash dishes.  Seriously.  Fill the up the sink with water and bubbles and let him play. My son loves this and it enterains him for a long time.  Of course you have to not mind a little mess.

  • Someone posted about the ball pit. We did this for DS and I completely forgot about it for DD! Get a cheap blow up kiddie pool and a bunch of those balls (found them on clearance at target) and let him go to town.
