TTC After a Loss
Update on me (current loss mentioned)
Multiple people have now confirmed that this pregnancy is in the uterine cavity (my subseptum makes it harder to see the exact location). This is very good news in the sense that I can take cytotec and hopefully it will work. Obviously there are no guarantees.
My doctor also talked with me about possibly doing a hysteroscopy after this is over to get a better look at, and maybe remove, my subseptum. It's small (only 10mm), so it shouldn't cause any problems, but it might be a factor in my 2 losses. We are also going to do some other testing, including an SA for DH. I'm really happy she is being proactive.
So I go in for mifepristone on Saturday, and cytotec on Monday. I have to stay in the hospital from when I get the cytotec until I have passed everything. They will then do an ultrasound to make sure everything is gone. I'm really scared about the pain, I hope it won't be too bad. A D&C sounds so much easier emotionally, but my doctor wants me to try the cytotec first, and I agree with her reasons.
Even though I can't believe I have to go through this, I know this is the best possible scenario right now and I am SO grateful there is a good chance I will be able to avoid surgery.

Sorry you're having to go through that. My cytotec experience with Harrison was pretty brutal but I think that's just because I was so far along. I'm sure you'll be ok and yes, ask for drugs if you need it! *hugs*

Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.
