S/O Bathing - Brushing Teeth

Since we're talking hygiene, does anyone have tips for getting LOs to let us brush their teeth?

DD used to love it but now she just says, "NO!" and clamps down or freaks out on me. I've tried brushing her teddy bear's teeth, asking her to brush his teeth and starting with brushing other body parts (let's brush your knees, let's brush your cheek, let's brush your teeth).

I know she needs it but I also don't want to try to force a stubborn kid to do something and make her more resistant.

    We're very off and on with her liking for teeth brushing.  She loved it for a while, but then decided it was the most terrible thing in the world a couple of weeks back.  She seemed to do great with it last night, though, so I don't know if it w

    Honestly? Teeth brushing is one of those things that I can't just let go when he doesn't want to do it. We give him a brush with baby tooth paste and an empty tooth paste container in the tub. He "brushes" and adds more imaginary tooth paste.

    I bought DD a spin brush, they were buy one get one free at Rite Aid recently, I got 2 for $7. It is the one that comes with a bunch of stickers that you can decorate the brush. She loves that brush and gets so excited to turn it on and put it in her mout

    We let her use her toothbrush herself first and then do the finger brush ourselves afterwards.

    When N was fighting it I used two toothbrushes. I gave her one to hold and I used the other one at the same time to actually brush them. Now I just brush them and then she chomps on it for awhile.
