Hello! I am from the TTTC board and needed some success stories to boost my spirits; I really appreciate anyone who responds!
DH I have been trying for a little over a year. I am 29 he is 34. This month was packed with tests because I started seeing an RE. Ultrasounds look good, the sono w/saline was normal, normal hsg, normal progesterone. However, my FSH came back high (she likes it under 10 mine came back 11.2) and my AMH low (she said someone my age usually has 4 to 5, but she likes 1 or higher; mine was 0.22). I am bummed about the AMH was wondering if anyone else had similar numbers with success in pregnancy.
Also, DH had an s/a, which showed a little low (she likes 40, but his were in the 30s and he only produced 1ml). My RE wants to proceed with IUI next cycle. Anyone with low AMH have luck with IUI as well?
Re: Success with AMH?
I concieved when my AMH was 0.54 through Clomid/IUI. (Now my AM is undetectable..grr.) The thing you have on your side is youth so even if you have fewer eggs, they are likely to be good quality.

I am also 29 and have an AMH of .68 but my FSH was 6 point something. I would agree with PP's in that age is definitely in your favor (that is what I have always been told anyway).
I'm also confused about the SA. His count is a
I agree with the other ladies -- having a lower AMH at age 29 does not necessarily indicate that your egg quality is poor, just that your reserve may be declining and time is not on your side.
