Freaked out!

My neighbor owns 3 pythons. I can't stand snakes so this makes me super uncomfortable. He just came to my door to tell me one just got loose in the complex!!! He was letting it roam for exercise and it went in a hole before he could stop it. They can't find it anywhere. WTH! Who lets a snake loose on a complex? And he's mad at the complex that there was a hole in the ground. I guess it was for the sprinkling system. Now I'm freaked out that a snake is going to crawl into my apartment. Not. Cool.

    I'd FREAK!  there was just that story a while ago about this same thing... a neighbor's snake made its way into the next-door baby's crib.

    I would freak out and not let my child out of my sight until it's found. There has been more than one story similar to what PP posted.

    That's the thing, I've heard all these stories if pet snakes getting loose and going for small children, my kids are so sleeping with me until its found. I am beyond sh!tting myself right now. I really think owning reptiles like this should be illegal. I

    I would not stay there until it is found.  I would not be able to handle that.  What a self centered, delusional a-hat for blaming the complex for a HOLE in the GROUND.  How do snakes get into other people's homes?  Google and then

    Snakes over a certain size freak me out, too. I'd be staying with relatives until the thing was found. There's no way I'd be able to sleep.

    Umm yah...snakes are seriously my biggest fear and I too would sh!t myself! To my family's house we would go until that clown caught his snakes!

    What an idiot! Who lets a snake out to get 'exercise'? Seriously?? If anything, the complex should be upset that he didn't have the snake on a proper leash. I'm with you, though--I wouldn't let my child out of my sight until the darn thing is foun

    That's insane. I'd be at my family's house until it was found. I don't mind if people own them as pets, but they need to be responsible about it!
