This may be an over reaction so tell me if it is...
I picked DS up from dc today and she told me that he used the potty twice. I got super excited and asked if he had asked her to use it. She told me that she decided that she would start pt-ing E and the other little boy.
We've never discussed this at all so I'm a little annoyed that she went ahead and started. I'm thrilled that she's all for helping, but I would have liked a little input. Also, she's been putting him on the potty every 30 minutes. We have a crazy busy weekend and I know I won't be able to keep that routine. I'm afraid this is going to totally throw him off and he won't learn or worse he'll regress. he really hasn't been showing too many readiness signs and I had totally planned on doing it this summer when I was home with him.
Am I being crazy? Should I say something or just roll with it? This won't permenantly scar DS, right? (ok i know it won't really, but I'm just frustrated).
Re: I'm peeved...
Meh, they started PTing DD at DC this summer because she was curious what the older ones were doing. She showed some enthusiam at home at first but that dimmed pretty quick.
The way I figure DC and home are 2 different worlds to LO

Our situation was exactly the same as EVM's. C started in August and progress has been quite slow. He definitely sees DC and home differently. Sometimes he's very enthused at one place but totally not at the other. And it switch
I would be a bit unhappy about the lack of conversation there. I would ask going forward that they talk to me before introducing any major new thing,
