Stride Rite question

Can anyone please reassure me that Stride Rite shoes run small?? I got Addy measured at the mall a month or two ago and they said she was a 3 or could even wear a 3.5 to have more growing room (they tried them on her) but yet she wears a 2 in other shoes and 3s are pretty much falling off her feet right now. I'm about to place an order for some Stride Rites and want to make sure I'm not going to have issues ordering the 3.5s... anyone? For what it's worth they are on backorder and it says they won't ship for another month.

Allison got 4's and they seemed to be about the same size as the 3's we had at home, just slightly larger...like 1/4 inch...

Print out the size chart from the website to get the right size. There should be room in the toe box for their feet to grow (maybe 1/4 - 1/2 inch).

Caroline wears a 4 in Stride Rite and Converse and a 3 in everything else, sometimes even a 2 depending on the shoe. I used their shoe chart online first and then went into the store and they both measured her at a 4 so I would think if she is a 2 a
