Two questions for the bottle feeders on the board:
1. How do you know LO is full? I've been reading a lot about how bottle fed babies are more prone to being overweight because their parents inadvertently over feed them. Maybe that just made me paranoid, but I feel like DD is hard to read. For example, she usually eats 100ml per bottle, but tonight both of her mid-night bottles she only took 60 before going milk drunk catatonic. I was torn on whether I should rouse her and try to get more in her or do what the books say and just follow her cues and not stuff her.
2. Does your LO cough a lot? Mine will start coughing and it seems like she is gasping for air. It's almost like the milk went down the wrong way. Just curious if this is normal. She aspirated the first night home from the hospital so I'm a little paranoid about it.
Re: Questions for bottle feeders
My son is a hand gnawer when he is hungry. So I give him four ounces right now (he's 7 weeks), and I usually know he is done when he hands stay away from his mouth when I go to burp. All of his movements calm down as he gets full. His arms stop flailin

Our boys stop eating when they are full. So did our girls. If you aren't on mobile and can see my sig pictures, neither of my almost exclusively bottle fed, formula supplemented, older children (10 and 6) are even remotely close to being overweight LOL
