Announcing at Easter?

Okay, so I think I am around 6.5 weeks right now and we haven't told anyone! I wanted/needed to give myself some time to be excited and because I know both our families are going to be so excited, I have been afraid to tell them until I am a little further along. I had blood work done and they said my hcg levels looked good, and I go for my first appointment and ultrasound on April 8th.

 We are thinking we want to tell our families on Easter, it will be a fun way and everyone will be together. Is anyone else planning to do this? I think we are going to take a picture of the positive pregnancy test and put a little note that says "Our chick will be hatching in November"..and have an egg for each person.

 Any other suggestions??

    I'm 7 weeks today and just don't want to make a big announcement until I at least hear the heartbeat. I have an us next Thursday and we are leaving the next day to go to PA for Easter. I think I'm going to wait to see how this goes first but I've been a

    That's so cute!! If everyone is going to be together you could put out a small Easter basket with a pregnancy test and maybe a few little baby things in there and wait for people to realize... Hehe!

    I think we are going to announce at Easter too! I know it's early but the way I look at it is that if something were to happen I could not get through it without my family so we would tell them anyway.
