I'm a complete idiot.

So I have a friend who's in dental hygiene school. Because I'm not currently covered under insurance she booked me into do a free teeth cleaning. I was so greatful.

First appointment: DH takes my debit card to work accidentally, I realize as I'm leaving the house I can't pay for my cab, therefore cancel last min.

Second appointment: Booked the same day as my anatomy scan so I had to reschedule.

Then I saw her twice, but on one of the appointments there was an accident and I got stuck in traffic and was late.

Last appointment (today): COMPLETELY FORGOT, she reminded me the day before yesterday, and it didn't even cross my mind until now. Because she's already done 2 appointments on me and doesn't have any openings left she can't get the marks she needs this semester and has to come back over the summer with a new person and do the 2 appointments + the additional one all over.

 

I was reading a post on pregnancy brain thinking to myself... hmm. It feels like I'm forgetting something. And now I've completely messed up this semester for her. I'm a douche.

    I am a hygienist and I'd be suprised if she'd talk to you again after that honestly. Those programs are grueling and not only is she screwed for the semester you cost her points on all the other days too. I'd definitely make a HUGE effort to make it up to
