Peeling?

So, I probably should have asked this when it started a few weeks ago, but anyone else with peeling skin?

The lower part of my belly and across my hips are peeling and itchy as all get out. It's like I had a bad sunburn. And I'm talking the kind of peeling where you can literally pull a piece of filmy dead skin the size of your palm or bigger, it is beyond gross.

I exfoliate like crazy in the shower, and it helps for a day or two, but then I'm straight back to peeling sometimes worse than before.  The rest of me isn't particularly dry or itchy...

I have my 6 week pp either this friday or next and plan to ask about it, but I figured I'd see if anyone here had the same happen...

    No, but my hair is falling out in giant handfuls.  I find it everywhere.  It's in piles on the bathroom floor, it's in my food, it's on the baby, it's on the couch.  It's sooo gross.  So, if it makes you feel better, someone else is

    Yes! It goes away..did you have a CS? i think mine was from all of the surgical gunk...I am 5 weeks pp so havent asked my doctor about it.

    No, vaginal delivery. :/
    I called a little while ago with another question, so when I get the call back from the nurse I'll ask this one, too, I suppose.

    And I WISH my hair would fall out! I had hair thicker than a horse's tail to start with

    Some places will give you a free hair cut if you donate to locks of love! I've done it a few times...and need to do it again. My hair is also down to the small of my back...I can't stand it this long!
