I posted below for feedback on the names that my FBIL and his FI are considering. Tonight at our family dinner, they let it slip that their front-runner is currently Juliet.
I personally love this name, but FMIL proceeded to crinkle her nose and insist that a Juliet will be "relentlessly teased."
I think FBIL has learned his lesson, but the damage has been done. Now they're paranoid about the name Juliet. WDYT? Does FMIL have a point or no?

Exactly. Not
I love Juliet and hubby doesn't (too Romeo and Juliet for him) so we're leaning toward Julianne. But I never once thought about being teased for Juliet?! There's a website you can go to see feedback on ppl that have name ...

I don't know why anyone would tease for that, that'd be super silly. But really, people will tease for anything and everything.
I think Juliet is a beautiful name, I looove it.

Your FMIL is an idiot. I'd be calling her out on that one... "What do you mean.. teased relentlessly??" When she comes up with some ridiculous answer, you know she's full of it.
Gorgeous name. And if kids are going to tease because of a Shakespearean reference, then I want to meet those kids.
FWIW, I would still consider this name for my own make believe future daughter, and my last name sounds/looks a lot l
