because I had to take my Mom to her appointment. (Basically, I had to take her because she can't find her way around the Houston medical center.) I have to say, it ticks me off that insurance pays for lap-band surgery and gastric sleeve surgery, but IF coverage is pretty much non-existent. That is all.
IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014

I agree. My mom did lap band two years ago and when she asked how insurance covered our IF stuff, I just laughed and said it doesn't.
You know what else makes me mad? My SIL's sister lives off the government, always has and always will. Guess

Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!

I have a very negative opinion concerning lap-band. My Mother was actually there because she has had so many problems. In my view, it basically just has been enforced bulimia on her. She has never truly changed her diet or exercise.&n
