First doctors appointment

So, after a long hassle with insurance I finally made my first appointment today. It's scheduled for April 16th so I will be over 9 weeks. I feel like I should be seen sooner. Opinions?

    From what I've heard, 810 weeks is average for a first appointment.

    My first appointment is the same day and I'll be 8 weeks. I'd love to have it sooner.

    My first appointment is @ 9 weeks on the day. I asked my ob why I had to wait so long. They said that my insurance only covers 1 early ultrasound and you'll get the best view between 8-10 weeks. They said this is standard with more insurance companies tho

    8-9 weeks is normal, it's just hard to wait I know

    Thanks ! I just thought it would be important to get checked out sooner but makes sense and if that's standard I guess I'll just have to deal.

    When I made my first appointment theys scheduled me april 2 which puts me at 7 weeks. I too would have thought they would want me in right away but I was told around week 6 is when test result will come back the strongest. I wish I could go already!
