No Scratch Mittens...

I have been searching amazon for some mittens to pack in my hospital bag for baby girl because her coming home outfits do not have anything to cover the fingers.  The reviews on many of the items are all over the place and I am just wondering if any of you have found any that you like?  Or is it acceptable to just put little socks over her hands?

  • I know I scratched my face as a baby, even have a scar on my cheek. So for this reason, I'm using either mittens or socks, whatever is handy.
  • I used to work in a Pediatric Hospital and we just used baby socks on their hands to keep them from scratching themselves. They were less likely to fall off then the actual mittens.
