Any tips for successful napping?

Ross sleeps an 11-12 hr. night.  Usually 8-8.  I can't complain about that.  But.....I want a good nap too.  He was going down around 11-11:30 on his 2nd bottle.  The nap would last anywhere from 30 min. to 2 hrs.  Now it is consistently 30 min.  I can't even get a shower and dry my hair in that time.  I moved the nap a little later, thinking he needs to get sleepier.  Any other tips?  I mean geez, doesn't an 11 mos. old need a good nap or two?  Help!  Oh, and when he wakes up he is jumping in his crib and talking.  If he was rolling around, stil acting sleepy, I'd leave him to see what happens.
