His eczema isn't any better. It's getting worse. The Zyrtec and Benadryl do nothing for managing his symptoms.
He wakes every morning with his face or forearms bleeding because he's been scratching in the MOTN. His face is swollen and flaky.
The hydrocortisone no longer works for his small flare ups let alone his body wide rash.
I am beginning to think that something else is going on here. I have an email in to the allergist, and I'm going to make an appointment to be seen by his PCP ASAP.
I'm posting a photo in hopes that maybe one of you has a suggestion. He's had NO fever, a slight, clear runny nose and a slight cough. The skin symptoms have persisted despite topical and oral meds for the last 2.5 weeks. The cough, runny nose symptoms have been around about a week.
Thoughts?
Re: For the love of updates: Otis
Oh poor guy
I wish I had some advice I have no experience with this though, I hope you get answers soon and can find something that works.

I know this can be pricey, but maybe a mold inspector could come? Som

I'm sorry, I also have no experience with this. I hope you are able to get an appointment and get some answers soon!
I don't have any suggestions, but I agree with you, something else is going on here.
Oh my goodness - it might be the pregnancy hormones, but I teared up. That just looks terrible, and I'm sure you must be so frustrated.
I have no suggestions, but I really hope that they figure something out.
Oh sweetie. I hate to suggest this but have you thought of removing him from the environment for awhile? You mentioned dander and if I remember correctly you have quite a few cats and dogs...
Poor little man. Kisses from Gemma to Otis.
That poor little sweetheart.
Did the docs mention anything about the sun? That pic reminds me so much of a condition that a few kids in my school have. I think I recall it being said it was an allergy to the sun, but I'm sure there's
Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! Poor, poor Otis
