First period SUCKS

I didn't believe everyone when they said that the first postpartum period would be bad. Good thing I still have pads left over from recovery! And I get to buy new underwear!

    Yeah, mine was terrible! TMI, but I was going through a super tampon in an hour...that happened about twice and I went to the pads. It was ridiculous!

    Not looking forward to this at all. My OB said to expect it any time between now and 2 years from now. Now that I hear how heavy it is, I'm hoping for 2 years!

    My first this time was worse than I remember, but not terrible. I was going through tampons like crazy but nothing horrible. I do hope the 2nd PP period (which I think will happen sometime this week) goes a little closer to my normal.

    I started birth control 4 weeks PP and I am still having the worst period ever. I started bleeding more even before my last active pill, and now 4 days later I'm wearing a super tampon and a pad. I never stopped spotting postpartum either, so I am unbelie

    For those of you using tampons, try just using pads...I have a bleeding disorder and my hematologist said sometimes tampons can irritate the cervix and make bleeding and cramping worse. Might be worth a try...
