Pregnant after 35

Still in shock

Hi All! I'm 41 and pregnant for the first time! (yikes!) Not planned, but totally wanted. I'm 6 wks, 2 days. Got a scare from my doctor last week that I think was very off-base and reactive, so I'm taking a break from doctors until April 1, which is when I scheduled my next appt, with a NEW OB. So now I'm just trying to enjoy the process and appreciate every moment, as I know there are risks and possible complications. I have HAD to tell some people because this is SO exciting, and I've received incredible amounts of joy, love, and support. So I guess I'm just saying hi and looking foward to connecting with others and benefiting from the wisdom of all those with more experience than me! Thanks! Big Smile

  • Hello and Congratulations. I am definitely still in shock too. I am turning 37 and thought DH and I were done. This will be number 4 for us, not to mention I have 3 boys already. So I have overwhelming feelings here and there. Feels like a roller coaster
