  Madeline = Mad-eh-LINE

  Madelynn = Mad-eh-LYNN

  Most Madelines I know pronounce it "Lynn" so that's what I would default to, but I would probably ask the first time meeting her to clarify. Same with Caroline.

  Both pronunciations are acceptable but I tend to pronounce it Mad.ah.lynn. I'm southern if that makes any difference!
