Who's still exercising? I feel like a wuss

So I usually take 2 boot camp style classes a week and 1 pilates class. The past 2 boot camp classes I have ended up bailing early because it is just too much for me now.... it is a lot of plyometrics and also jumping so between the horrific RLP/fire crotch and the fact that I about pee myself for 50% of the class it is not enjoyable at all. Not to mention it's at 5pm on days I work 8-4 and I'm so darn tired by then I can't do it. I'm sad to say I might be giving up on them until after I deliver. I feel like a wuss and like I'm disappointing the trainer (which is silly but she has helped me get into really good shape over the past year) I'm still doing my pilates class, but it's at 9am on my day off... and I'm walking on an incline for 30 min 3 times a week on the treadmill.... DH says I'm crazy to feel this way but I am so disappointed in myself.

  • I will join the "I feel like a wuss" club. I was running 15-25 miles a week before I got pregnant, and I was determined to be one of those women who was huge and still running. But, the first tri took me down hard. The fatigue and morning sickness was the
  • You are doing great! I am doing about the same as you are. So do what you can, but rest a lot too during this last tri.

  • I totally feel like a wuss.  Pre-pregnancy, I played soccer 3 times a week, ran between 10-15 miles a week and swam a couple miles a week.  Obviously, soccer was the first to do (DH and OB ganged up on me to quit at 8 weeks).  Running ha

  • My OB told me NOT to run as soon as I got pregnant.  She was concerned my heart rate would get too high.  I miss it, but at this point, even walking makes my back hurt like the dickens.  I try to walk with my dog every day for at least 2

  • I'm super impressed you're still doing that much.  Pre-pregnancy I was running 1-2 hours a day (anywhere from 6-12 miles) almost every day of the week.  Add in a weight-lifting class 2-3 times a week, maybe a spin class once a week...

  • You are not a wuss at all. I am still running, but it's run/walking intervals and it's way slow. And I'm probably going to have to do just walking in the next few weeks (I think I quit running completely at around 29-30 weeks last time too). The important

Wuss here! Before I got pregnant I was doing 3-4 intensive cardio classes per week (zumba, etc.), and weight training (like deadlifts and similar things), and walking a minimum of 40 minutes a day to do errands. When I got pregnant, my GP couldn't seem

  • I'm doing prenatal yoga once a week but nothing formal other than that..though, I feel like I'm staying in really good shape between taking care of a toddler, living in a house with 3 flights of stairs, and walking/taking public transportation everywhere.

  • I'll join you in feeling like a wuss, but honestly we are doing good!  I was weight lifting, running, doing bootcamp, etc before I got pregnant- I had a six pack for the 1st time in my life.  Now all I can manage is yoga or pilates with light we

  • I realized I posted on the wrong board (I'm a July Mama!) but thanks for all the supportive replies! I hardly exercised at all with my first 2 pregnancies and was so proud of how I've kept going-- it's hard not to be down on myself for feeling like I'm gi
