Moving with a newborn

My husband and I have had our house on the market for 6 months we finally got an offer last week and we are under contract! Thank goodness we found a bigger house about 25 minutes away and if everything goes according to plan, we will be moving April 15. Honestly, the timing could have been A LOT better... My doctor says I could have the baby any day now. Does anyone have any experience moving with a newborn? The baby will only be a few weeks old when we move. I'm getting a little anxious. I've started packing boxes and trying to do as much prep work as possible. Any suggestions?

    We moved when DS1 was 2 weeks. Keep all of the baby stuff that you are using separate and labelled. Don't put it in a moving truck, move it together in your car. You pack that up and move it first thing in the morning. If someone has a pickup truck, t

    Same situation here.  We went into contract about 2 weeks ago.  We are a coop so typically, it can take longer to get the paper work done, so I'm not even looking for a place yet.  I dont want to get stuck paying a mortgage and rent.
