LO is using a Halo sleep sack that has the wings to swaddle. When completely swaddled he sleeps 7pm - 4:30am, eats, and sleeps until 7 or 8. A couple weeks ago I tried just swaddling his torso and one arm, leaving the other free. He woke up at 11:30pm. Exhausted (I'm pregnant with #2), I gave up and swaddled both arms in and he slept through the night. I initially wanted to start weaning him because he can roll back to front. I gave up and figured I had a few more weeks because he had never rolled while swaddled. Well, he started crying this morning at 5:30am (after eating at 4:30am; so I knew it wasn't hunger). I went in and he was face down (swaddled completely). So...the wait is over. We have to wean. I'm scared for my sanity (and exhaustion). He just doesn't sleep well with his arms free. By the way, he is 19 weeks (yes, we will have 2 under 1). Tips on weaning? Should I do one arm at a time or cold turkey (since he definitely can roll)...?
Re: Weaning from Swaddle
Man, I Am not cut out for this weaning stuff! I just got him ready for bed with one arm out. While we were rocking he was arching his back and squirming like crazy (just too much stimulation with arms out), so I caved and put his arm back in. I kid you

My LO was turning to his side and I got worried about it and ordered one. I transitioned him to naps with it and now he sleeps with nothing during naps and this at night. It just offers a bit of arm resist
My DS would not let us unswaddle him either. He was a late roller, so we had more time, but at 6 months, we just did Ferber to get him out of it. However, we did try putting him in a sleep sack with his arms zipped into it (not coming out o
