Transitioning from swing to crib...

My lo is 9 months old and is having a hard time now that she stands, transitioning from the swing to the crib.  She literally stands there and cries.  I tried to let her cry it out but she still continues to stand.  She has slept in her crib for naptime in the past, but I think age and repetition have caused her to not want to be in her crib unless it is night time.  She sleep over 12 hours at night in her crib.  She wakes up somewhere between 7:15 and 8 am each day and then i nap her @ 10:30 am.  Can someone give some advice as to how you did a good transition?  I think I could possibly be missing the mark and possibly be putting her down to late, but originally i was too early.  With her crawling and standing I need a solid new nap routine.  :)

    I am not sure if this would work or be helpful. It may sound like a lot of work but may pay off in the end depending on how it goes. Have you tried to keep laying her down with a blanket and have some soothing music play for her to listen to, to help h

    No advice here! DD won't sleep in her crib for naps either. She sleeps great in her crib at night, but naps she just screams until I put her in the swing. If she falls asleep in my arms an I put her in her crib, she screams at the first opportunity and th
