Ah, food fail!

Poor DD! We gave her a slice of grilled eggplant tonight, and much though she loved it, her poor little hands and face around her mouth got all red and rashy. We called the pediatrician and washed her up and they said it was NBD, that a contact allergy isn't a true allergy, and she'll probably be able to eat that food when she's older. But still! It was scary.

    I am so glad everything is okay! I know I would have freaked out if I were in your shoes.

    Oh no!! That is scary!! I'm glad she's alright, and that it just was a rash and nothing more severe!!

    I'm glad it turned out to be something minor. DD got a contact rash on her face from avocados.
