Animal print

I wanted to make the kids shirts with a safari theme like MS's Star Wars shirt. So I was thinking of the zebra print shirt and then painting the Mickey Mouse silhouette in red.

But, of course, I want them to match...
I feel like zebra and leopard print are too girly. Giraffe print seems boyish enough, but they don't have that print at hobby lobby. Maybe is should just do Ks I'm black. But the. It doesn't look safarish.

I know, big issues.

Re: Animal print

  • I dont' think zebra would be too girly if it's just black and white. What about tiger stripes? Although the orange might clash with the red mickey.

  • I'd go zebra. As long as it's a basic black and white print I don't think of zebra as too girly.

  • Zebra's not too girly - SIL just had a pink zebra party for her daughter's first bday, and she had her son and J in black shirts, with zebra letters cut out to say "Big Bro" and "Big Cuz" - it was absolutely adorable!

What about a plain black o
