In just over three weeks my boys will be 1 year old! It's so hard to believe. For those of you with older preemies, did you do anything special that helped your healing? Therapy has helped me a lot and I'm looking forward to celebrating this milestone, but I know I still have more healing to do. I'd like ideas for how other people celebrated.
Right now the only big thing I have planned is a special cake smash photo. Our boys were born on my husband's birthday and one thing that got me through in the beginning was imagining a photo of the three of them a year later.
