Removing glue

I'm just about 2 weeks after my RCS and the glue is killing me. I had dissolvable stitches and glue on top. The glue is actually pulling the hair though that's growing back and is kind of painful. If you had glue, did you use something special to remove it? I had the same with my first, but for the life of me, can't remember how I got it off. I'm guessing just soap and hot water, but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • I don't think you're actually supposed to use anything to take it off, but I've heard of people saying baby oil worked well.  I'd just call up your OB and see what they recommend :)

  • My OB recommended putting Vaseline on it to take the glue off. It worked pretty well. I did this at 4 weeks PP. good luck!

  • At my 1 week check-up my OB told me that the glue would start peeling in about a week and I could help the process along. I just mostly left alone until around 4 weeks when there were some flaky bits.  Those I picked off. I wasn't glue-free until aro
